The Way of the Maker

About The Way of The Maker

You believe in biblical creation. Great! But do you feel confident in sharing the evidence with those who don’t? You can be.

An amateur observational creation scientist will help you counter the theories of evolution and share with unbelievers and evolutionists the wonders of creation and how Jesus is the Way. You can be prepared to present the convincing evidence for biblical creation.

Learn:

  • How macro-evolution—changing from one species to another—has not been observed or documented.
  • That evolution cannot account for the probability of something out of nothing. Nonliving matter evolving into living matter is only an unsupportable theory.
  • The miracle of human life made in the image of God.
  • Why evolution can’t give a plausible explanation for uniqueness in the natural world and more.

Easy-to-understand language, an inspirational style, and excellent resources for further study will help empower you to back up what you believe. Includes adventure discovery questions, ideas to “walk it out,” and prayers.

We can all be macroevolution busters without a PhD. All we need to be amateur observational creation scientists are logic, common sense, and critical thinking.

Endorsments for The Way of the Maker

In more than a decade of tromping trails with Debbie Lynn Gaustad in the red rock country of southern Utah, I have shared the WOWs she writes about in her opening chapter. As we made discoveries, I watched Debbie’s curiosity ignite into a flaming interest. She would observe repeating and varying marvels, testing the many explanations given for their origin and development. In this book, Debbie articulates her findings and invites—no, challenges—her readers to consider and engage with the Almighty. It is He, she explains, who is the Maker who both knows all and can be known by all personally and rationally. Most enjoyable, perhaps, is that Debbie’s work does not read as another tedious trial of evolutionary ideas, although she exposes leaps of reasoning she finds refutable. Rather, this is a contemplative work that invites the reader into wonder; yes, to exclaim WOW in a sensible well-reasoned way to the Maker of everything.

—Joyce Kuzmanic, former editor in chief of St. George News

The Way of the Maker is a journey to appreciate and value the Creator and His Creation. Debbie Lynn Gaustad has spent decades studying and traveling through the Bible and nature, so this book will help you ponder and process the majesty and beauty of this world we dwell in and the God who made it.

—Pam Farrel, author of fifty-nine books including 7 Simple Skills for Every Woman and coauthor of the Discovering the Bible series of creative Bible studies

The Way of the Maker chapter “The Miracle of Human Life” includes powerful Scripture references that affirm the value of human life (from the moment of conception) that so many in the culture say is expendable! Debbie’s writing will soften hearts toward a Creator and inspire the reader to encourage every woman to THRIVE during and after an unexpected pregnancy! And by example, she demonstrates that mourning can be turned into dancing as she has given so much to the pro-life/pro-woman/pro-love movement!

—Lucy Smith, director Pro-Love Tucson sidewalk advocates

The Way of the Maker brings excellent fact-finding research and deep Scripture knowledge for evidence of Biblical Creation that will expose and discredit any evolution propaganda. It is written with much love, compassion, and truth.

—Lisa Cameron, faithful member of The Way of the Maker Facebook group

In The Way of the Maker, author and life coach Debbie Lynn Gaustad gives you an inspired, well-researched, and biblically sound guide for staying on the narrow path of Jesus and helping others to walk on it with you.

The Way of the Maker will help you to compassionately and prayerfully, with the Holy Spirit’s guidance, share the Gospel from the perspective of God as our Creator.

—David V. Kachele, THE RELUCTANT EVANGELIST: Embrace Your Gifts and Fulfill God’s Purpose

In John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” Such a life-changing, transforming life verse for me personally. Since becoming a Christ follower, I’ve repeated this so many times to loved ones who may be caught up in things that are of this world and not of God. I trust in Him, and His creation shows us everything. If we just look, touch, and feel it, we can know our Creator!

—Cara Hatch, biblical creationist and faithful follower of The Way

A must read for Christians looking for all the ways to wonder at Christ and His Creation. Debbie makes it easy to understand God and His intention for your life in this fallen world.

—Karla King, faithful member of The Way of the Maker Facebook group

It’s easy to exclaim “WOW” when we experience “God things.” In The Way of the Maker, through her adventures on the hiking trails, kayaking, and climbing, Debbie Lynn Gaustad has seen up close and personal the glory of God in His creation. She’s taken these experiences and blended them with her passion for creation apologetics in a readable and informative format. I would highly recommend The Way of the Maker to anyone who is seeking or curious about the God of the universe.

—Todd Hitchcock, campus pastor, Shadow Mountain Community Church

The Way of the Maker will deepen your thoughts of how amazing our God is through Scripture and reflective prayer. Debbie does an excellent job showing us the awe of God’s creation in the womb and in contrast, the devastating results of abortion. She speaks from much experience of the love and practical help that is offered through many pregnancy care centers across the country and many parts of the world.

—Kathy Metzer, Outreach Coordinator at New Beginnings Pregnancy + Family Support

It’s been an absolute blessing to know Debbie as a close friend these past few years! Excited about her book … I admire the joy she brings in making us aware of the best free gift to all: JESUS! The Way of the Maker will be a great way to reach Muslims!

—a fellow evangelist and former Muslim; Finding Faith is a book about my life.

Debbie’s dedication to praying for others after services, participation in our prolife ministry, and contributions to the children’s ministry all express her love for her Maker and His creation. Now, with her latest work, The Way of the Maker, she has the opportunity to impact even more lives by illuminating the profound truths of God and His Word. I encourage you to read this book as it is sure to inspire you to share the Way by revealing the countless pieces of evidence that testify to the greatness of our magnificent Creator!

—Morgan Roters, associate pastor at Calvary Oro Valley Church

The Way of the Maker is a fun and insightful view into the wonder of God’s creation. It is comprehendible and easy to follow and offers a story along with the narrative. My favorite was in chapter 4, where I read about the human body and how irreducibly complex some of our parts are! The holy word says we were made from the dust of the ground. It just so happens the elements that make up dust are the same that make up man—oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, zinc, carbon, calcium, phosphorus, and iron.

—Zebadiah Wilson, biblical creationist sharing daily on social media.

The Way of the Maker is a fantastic resource to learn more about God, His creation, and sharing His creation story with nonbelievers in an inviting and compassionate way. Using Biblical insights and tangible parts of creation we can see around us each day, the author invites the reader to renew their wonder in His creation and then turn around and share that wonder with others. The Way of the Maker is a much-needed resource in our overly technologized and under-awed modern society.

—Micah Ruth, author of You Are Loved and Free: A Guided Journey to Winning the Battle for Your Identity.

Quotes from The Way of the Maker

"I consider myself an amateur observational creation scientist. If it takes 10,000 hours or five years of study to become an expert in a particular field, then I’m qualified to write this unique book. As long as I can remember, I’ve passionately observed Gods created world and drawn scientific conclusions."

"We can all be macroevolution busters without a PhD. All we need to be amateur observational creation scientists are logic, common sense, and critical thinking."

"Evolution theories are based on the presumption that all life evolved from a common goo ancestor. Therefore, I refer to it frequently as the goo-to-you theory."

"Non-living matter evolving into living matter is also a major presumption that has never been observed."

"By purposefully taking adventures, we can make our own observations about our Master Maker and His creation."

"Evolution can’t give a plausible explanation for uniqueness in the natural world."

"I consider myself a recovered evolutionist turned passionate biblical creationist."

"Instead of believing the Bible and experiencing God in nature, many people blend creation and macroevolution. Experience has shown a direct correlation between someones belief in the biblical creation account and the strength of their faith."

"We should not be shocked by secular scientists’ drastic attempts to convince Gods created people that humans evolved in a molecule-to-man fashion. Unsurprisingly, there are no missing links as the secular scientists claim. Great chasms exist between apes and humans, and DNA research continues to confirm that fact."

"Love is the best evangelism strategy."
