Adventures

One of my more recent adventures was to Lake Superior as seen in the photo above. There are so many interesting facts about Lake Superior. Did you know that Lake Superior contains 10% of the fresh water on earth and it is the largest lake in the world by surface area? Every where I adventure there and wonders to explore and fascinating facts to discover. When I adventure, I pray Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (NKJV) He is faithful to answer and many of His insights are contained in the book – The Way of the Maker.

Creation displays God’s character and creative genius in the great outdoors when we unplug from the hustle and bustle of life and media. We are blessed with abundant National and State Parks to discover and many other scenic areas waiting to be observed. You can become an observational creation scientist by exploring God’s created world and making logical conclusions! I have my next adventure planned to San Diego’s amazing Point Loma and Cabrillo National Monument along with the tide pools. Now is a wonderful time to plan your next adventure and experience God in His created world.

Blendie Queen

It has been over 20 years since I was gifted an amazing Vita-Mix blender. That is why I call them “Blendies” and not smoothies. In addition, they are not always smooth. I have made thousands of blendies over the years and have one almost daily. You don’t need a fancy blender to make nutritious and delicious blendies. There are abundant variations with wonderful natural foods to blend along with spices and yogurt. The blendie above is a tasty blend of Orange Juice, banana, pineapple, mango along with ginger root and turmeric. I added a small amount of low sugar yogurt with stevia. I like to add protein + greens powder, either chocolate or vanilla which it optional. Vanilla is used with orange juice. So many blendie options and so little time. I will be featuring recipes in my monthly newsletter that you won’t want to miss.

Gardening

Following in my grandmother “Nanny’s” footsteps and my mother’s footsteps, I have a passion for gardening. Over the years I have had very large gardens and currently a small garden featured above. No matter the size, there are beautiful flowers to care for and admire. Flowers are beaty by design and evidence for biblical creation. In addition, I enjoy the birds, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other creatures they attract. I also have a hobby of making bird baths like the one shown which frequently has doves perched on it.

It is a bit challenging to grow flowers in Tucson, Arizona but it’s amazing what does grow here.

In addition to gardening myself, I love observing natural blooms along with visiting rose gardens and botanical gardens. Nearby is the local gem, Tohono Chul and the Tucson Botanical Gardens. Did you know the Arizona state flower is the bloom of the Saguaro?  Only an amazing Creator God can make this incredible cactus and brilliant bloom that defies evolution. All over the desert are incredible cactus blooms that are breathtaking. Wherever you live, I encourage you to observe the flowers around you and perhaps you have a green thumb.

Gracee the Dog

What a blessing to have Gracee as our faithful companion. She loves adventures and we take her along whenever we can. She enjoys outings to the park and riding in the adventure jeep.

She doesn’t care where she goes as long as she gets to go. Here she is loving a cruise in the boat we had on Lake Pokegama, in Grand Rapids Minnesota, before moving to Tucson, Arizona full time. As you can see, she is not just a lap dog but a full body dog!

She plays with all her toys but, being a goldendoodle, playing ball is her favorite pastime. That keeps David and I occupied during the day. In the morning and evening she is a cuddly buddy.

You are sure to see more adventures of Gracee the dog in the monthly newsletter.

The Way of the Maker

About the Book

You believe in biblical creation. Great! But do you feel confident in sharing the evidence with those who don’t? You can be.

An amateur observational creation scientist will help you counter the theories of evolution and share with unbelievers and evolutionists the wonders of creation and how Jesus is the Way. You can be prepared to present the convincing evidence for biblical creation.

Learn:

  • How macro-evolution—changing from one species to another—has not been observed or documented.
  • That evolution cannot account for the probability of something out of nothing. Nonliving matter evolving into living matter is only an unsupportable theory.
  • The miracle of human life made in the image of God.
  • Why evolution can’t give a plausible explanation for uniqueness in the natural world and more.

Easy-to-understand language, an inspirational style, and excellent resources for further study will help empower you to back up what you believe. Includes adventure discovery questions, ideas to “walk it out,” and prayers.
